Ed Baran is a seasoned publicist with nearly three decades of experience across various industries, including technology, entertainment, retail, manufacturing, music, and literature. He founded Ed Baran Publicity in 1997, a boutique public relations firm specializing in consumer and trade campaigns, media tours, trade shows, festivals, and markets, serving clients in independent film, home entertainment, television, theater, and specialized local events.
Throughout his career, Ed has led publicity campaigns for notable independent feature films such as “Sordid Lives,” featuring Olivia Newton-John, Delta Burke, Bonnie Bedelia, Beau Bridges, Beth Grant, and Leslie Jordan. His work also includes the Emmy Award-winning “Flight 93,” “The Reading Room” with James Earl Jones, and “Northern Lights” starring Diane Keaton.
